2. Definitions and Interpretation

In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms shall have the meanings assigned:

• "Bharosilo" / "Platform": The website, mobile interfaces, and digital services operated by Bharosilo in Nepal.
• "User" / "You": Any individual, consumer, business owner, or organization that visits, registers, or interacts with the Platform.
• "Review": Any text evaluation, star rating, photograph, or commentary submitted by a user regarding a business.
• "Establishment": Any restaurant, cafe, retail shop, service provider, or enterprise listed on the Platform.

3. Acceptance of Terms

3.1 Legally Binding Agreement: By accessing, browsing, creating an account, or publishing content on Bharosilo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

3.2 Modifications: We may revise these Terms periodically to reflect legislative updates in Nepal or new platform capabilities. Your continued use following updates constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

4. User Registration and Account Security

4.1 Account Creation: To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and maintain its accuracy.

4.2 Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4.3 Age Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age or possess legal guardian consent under Nepal's Privacy Act 2075 to register and submit reviews.

4.4 Account Authenticity: You shall not create accounts using false identities, impersonate others, or operate multiple accounts for the purpose of manipulating ratings.

5. License Grant and User Content

5.1 Ownership: You retain all intellectual property rights in the reviews, ratings, and photographs you publish on Bharosilo.

5.2 License to Bharosilo: By submitting content, you grant Bharosilo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, display, adapt, and distribute your content across our platform and digital channels.

5.3 First-Hand Experience: All reviews must reflect genuine first-hand consumer transactions, visits, or service interactions.

6. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any prohibited activities on Bharosilo, including:

• Posting paid, incentivized, coerced, or fabricated reviews.
• Competitor sabotage, defamatory campaigns, or extortion under Nepal's National Penal Code 2074.
• Automated scraping, crawling, or unauthorised data mining without express written consent.
• Doxxing or publishing confidential personal records without authorization under the Privacy Act 2075.
• Uploading harmful code, trojans, viruses, or attempting to compromise platform security.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, service marks, design assets, algorithms, and software comprising Bharosilo are the exclusive property of Bharosilo and protected under the Copyright Act 2059 of Nepal. Reproduction or reverse-engineering is strictly prohibited.

8. Trust, Authenticity & Anti-Fraud Safeguards

8.1 Fraud Detection AI: We deploy automated machine learning models alongside certified human review moderators to detect coordinated review manipulation, duplicate accounts, and spam rings.

8.2 Verification Standards: Reviews marked with verified proof badges undergo receipt, invoice, or digital location verification to guarantee authenticity for consumers.

9. Content Moderation & Enforcement

We reserve the right to remove or downrank content violating these Terms, issue public consumer alerts on compromised establishment listings, and permanently terminate accounts found manipulating feedback.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

11. Limitation of Liability

Bharosilo provides directory and crowd-sourced review services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Nepal law, Bharosilo disclaims liability for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the platform.
