Methodology

How we review businesses

Ratings on Bharosilo come from customers, not from us. This page explains the scale, what verification does and does not mean, and what happens when a review is reported.

The Laliguras scale

  1. 1

    Poor

The experience was bad enough that you would warn someone.

  2. 2

    Fair

Real problems, but something about the visit worked.

  3. 3

    Good

Fine overall, with clear room to improve.

  4. 4

    Very good

A solid experience you would recommend.

  5. 5

    Excellent

Genuinely memorable; you would go out of your way to return.

What we enforce

One review per person per business

An account can publish one review for a listing. It can be edited later, and the edit date is shown — no silent rewrites.

Moderation before and after publish

New reviews are screened for spam, abuse and duplicate accounts. Anyone can report a review, and flagged reviews are re-checked.

Owners reply, they do not erase

A business can reply publicly to any review. It cannot delete a negative review or buy a higher rating.

Conflicts of interest are removed

Reviews written by the owner, staff, or someone who was never a customer are removed when we can verify it.

Reporting and disputes

Anyone can report a review or a listing detail. Owners get the same path: report the review, add context, and a human checks it against the guidelines. A disagreement with a genuine opinion is not grounds for removal.

Corrections

Wrong hours, a moved location, a closed business — report it from the listing or contact us. Verified owners can edit their own profile; corrections from the public are reviewed before they go live.

Common questions

What do the Laliguras ratings mean?
Laliguras is Bharosilo's 1–5 scale: 1 Poor, 2 Fair, 3 Good, 4 Very good, 5 Excellent. A business rating is the average of its approved reviews, not a score we assign.
What does 'verified' mean on Bharosilo?
Verification means we checked relevant business or ownership information, such as a phone number, business document, or a claim confirmed by the owner. It is not an endorsement and does not change the rating.
How do you handle fake reviews?
We look for duplicate accounts, review rings, copied text, and reviews from people with no plausible connection to the business. Confirmed fake reviews are removed and repeat accounts can be blocked.
Can I dispute a review about my business?
Yes. Report the review from the listing page or contact support with the review link and the reason. If it breaks the community guidelines, we remove it; if it is a genuine but negative opinion, it stays and you can reply publicly.
Can a business pay for a better position?
No. Rankings and ratings are not for sale. Any sponsored or promoted placement is labelled, and it never changes a rating.
